Exfoliates the top layers of skin to minimize dullness and even out texture. It increases cell turnover and can help with age spots, wrinkles, and other surface level concerns. These acids are usually more tolerable for those with Sensitive skin.
(Ex. Glycolic, Lactic and Mandelic Acid)
Argirilene "Botox in a Bottle" (Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 or 8) | Tightens / Hydrates
Tightens and prevents formation of skin lines and wrinkles.
Azelaic Acid | Brightens / Mild Exfoliant / Soothes
Helps to prevent and treat hyperpigmentation and Acne on the skin as well as even out your skin tone.

Benzoyl Peroxide | Exfoliant
Attacks bacteria and helps unclog pores by removing dead skin to prevent blockages. BP is a keratolytic used in many acne treatments but, can be irritating -especially when used in high percentages.
BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) | Exfoliant
Derived from Willow Bark this oil-soluble exfoliate reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves overall skin texture. BHA's penetrate the skin and unclogs pores, which can help those with oily skin prone to breakouts.
The most common BHA is Salicylic Acid or Willow Bark Extract.
Caffeine | Brightens
Most commonly used in eye creams due to its ability to improve circulation and decrease under-eye puffiness.
Copper Peptides | Stimulates / Hydrates
Support the production of collagen and elastin and, help repair damaged tissue resulting in anti-aging benefits. This ingredient poses many efficacy debates among the skincare community.
CoQ10 | Protects

Gluconolactone | Common PHA (polyhydroxy acid) | Exfoliates
Dissolves dead skin cells, improves skin texture, discoloration, and can help remove excess oil from the skin. May be less irritating to sensitive skin types than AHAs or BHAs. The major difference in a PHA is that it has a larger molecular structure, which limits its ability to penetrate the skin, resulting in less potential for sensitizing side-effects.
Glycerin | Hydrates
A humectant that attracts moisture from the air into the stratum corneum (top layer of skin), and due to its low molecular weight, will continue to draw moisture to the deeper levels of the dermis. It helps prevent the loss of moisture and protect the skin from harsh products/ingredients.
Glycolic Acid | Exfoliates
A chemical exfoliant that speeds up cell turnover. This ingredient can help with anti-aging, sun damage, complexion, and acne. Glycolic Acid consist of the smallest-size molecules of all AHAs. The small size of the molecule makes it easy for the skin to absorb it.
Green Tea | Soothes
Green tea contains polyphenols, which are plant compounds that have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This means that they can help reduce inflammation and protect the skin from damage caused by external culprits.
Humectants | Hydrates
Humectants are ingredients that attract and bind water. In skin care, they draw water from the deeper layers of the skin to the outermost layer.
(ex. Glycerin, Urea and, Hyaluronic Acid)
Hyaluronic Acid | Hydrates
A substance that retains moisture — and it is capable of binding over one thousand times its weight in water. This substance is naturally found in many areas of the human body.
